Receiving Coordinator

Description:  Maintain database by checking and entering receiving orders. Work with Receiving Department to handle various Receiving tasks.
Duties:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide support to Receiving and Sales staff.
  2. Answer multi-phone lines.
  3. Enter, and check orders by utilizing Produce Pro. Verify completed invoices for signature and stamp.
  4. Handle copying, filing and faxing as needed.
  5. Respond and handle driver and customer concerns.
  6. Greet visitors.
  7. Be familiar and comfortable with Shipping and Receiving procedures.
  8. Must work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in End of Month Inventory as needed.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of office.
  11. Comply with Lancaster Foods, Inc. policies and procedures.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. HS Diploma or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of two to three years of related experience.
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  4. Must possess 10-key calculator and keyboard experience.
  5. Must be able to demonstrate satisfactory written and oral communication skills.
  6. Must be able to demonstrate proper telephone etiquette, excellent customer service and satisfactory listening skills.
  7. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  8. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.

 

Must be able to, with reasonable accommodations, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, handle multiple tasks, handle high pressure situations, follow up and meet deadlines, work in temperatures, which range from 28-90 degrees, work in a wet, damp and dusty environment and have the ability to read and understand warehouse documents.

 

 Scheduled shift out times may vary and will be addressed at the beginning of the shift or as soon as it is known.  Due to the shift workload, the employee may be sent home earlier or later than scheduled.   All efforts will be made by management to notify the employee as early as possible regarding the shift change.  It is the responsibility of the employee to make any necessary adjustments to accommodate the shift change.
