| POSITION SUMMARY: Provide office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies for Human Resources. Monitor administrative projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •1. Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager. •2. Maintain Guest Services and Lancaster Foods policy and procedure book. •3. Handle typing, copying, filing and faxing/general HR correspondence. •4. Performs customer service questions by answering employee requests and questions. •5. Recruitment of all production/value added positions to include: the interviewing process, new hire orientation and job fairs. •6. Conducts benefit enrollment/new hire paperwork [with the Payroll Manager] for new employees. •7. Maintain applicant flow log and respond to applicant inquiries, conducts background checks and keeps files up to date. •8. Conduct training classes either in conjunction with the Training Manager, HR Manager or the Safety Manager. •9. Assist in Employee Relation investigations •10. Provide backup support to the Payroll and Safety Manager on a "as needed" basis. •11. Learn/develop HR Skills not limited to employment and training. •12. Must be flexible and adaptable to a variety of hours worked, including weekends, late nights and early mornings. •13. Must work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and procedures. •14. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse. •15. Comply with Lancaster Foods LLC policies and procedures. •16. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: •1. College degree desired. •2. A minimum of two to three years of related experience in HR, including experience in Recruiting & Training. •3. Bi-lingual is desired (English/Spanish) but not required. •4. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). •5. Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. •6. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. •7. Must have own transportation. •8. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends. In this position, it is absolutely critical that the employee thinks first of the customer [the Lancaster employee] and the functions of the business. The HR Production Staffing Coordinator must be flexible and adaptable to change and able to work as a team player and independently. This position must communicate well with candidates, Lancaster employees and the corporate office. This position must be able to keep all HR information confidential within the confines of Human Resources. This position reports directly to the HR Manager at Lancaster Foods and is considered part of the GSI HR team. |
